My microphone is not working

Of course, it is possible to practice an unlimited number of times with our practice question before taking the real video interview online. Can I watch my answers after recording them?
You won’t be able to access your video answers. Once they are saved and submitted, they are available only to people in the organisation that invited you to take the one-way video interview.

Yes, you can take your one-way video interview on mobile if you have an iPhone, an iPad or an Android device. Our application is available on the stores under the name InterviewApp. Please visit our section “Mobile” for further information about our apps.
How to use the Equipment Setup page?
This page is designed to automatically check if your computer is equipped with the following items: A stable Internet connection A recommended browser to record your automated video interview If the system detects an error, you won't be able to click "Next" at the botton of the page. In the following pages, the system will check that your webcam and your microphone are functioning properly. Hence, please follow the instructions that will show up on screen.
What if the interview video is interrupted during recording?
If your interview is interrupted while loading a question or sending answers due to connection issues, you can refresh the page and start again to the question where you left off.
What should I expect during a one-way video interview on InterviewApp?

How long does it take to load a question?
It depends on the speed of your connection but it should not take more than a few seconds. As a point of comparison, the loading should not take longer than the loading of the one-way video interview homepage. How does a one-way video interview works on InterviewApp?
Our video interview solution uses the camera of your computer or your smartphone/tablet to record your interview. The interviewer prepared a series of written questions for you. You will have a limited time to answer each of these questions through a camera and a microphone. You won’t have the opportunity to record your video responses twice. Then, your video responses will be reviewed by the interviewer.
Can I sign up now but only practice and take my interview later?
Absolutely! You can sign up now and come back later, at your convenience, to practice and take your interview. You can even start your interview and pause between each question. When you return to the interview interface via the link, the interview restarts from the question following the one you recorded last. Finally, keep in mind that once a question has been started, you need to record it all at once. No second chance!
What is an InterviewApp video interview?
InterviewApp is a one-way video interviewing solution. An InterviewApp video interview is an online video interview that interviewees can take from anywhere, in their own time, without the presence of the interviewer being required.
What kind of lighting to choose?
Settle in a well-lit room for recording. Typically, a room lit by daylight is a good environment to take your interview. Make sure, however, you are not sitting back to a window, or you may have problem with backlighting… The recruiter would not see your face on the recording! So, if possible settle in front of a light source (a window for instance). Good lighting will ensure a good recording quality.
How long last an interview in general?
If this is the first time you are taking an InterviewApp interview, we advise you to allow 30 to 45 minutes for your one-way video interview.
