Setting up your InterviewApp URL
The principle
Setting up a custom URL will make your one-way video interviews available on a domain name of your own, such as interview.mysite.com, instead of an InterviewApp subdomain such as mysite.itwapp.io.
Setting up your InterviewApp URL
Update your DNS (Domain Name System) to redirect your chosen custom URL (ex. : interview.mysite.com) to your subdomain mysite.itwapp.io using a CNAME record.
Each domain registrar has its own method for setting a CNAME record.
The important parts of this record are your subdomain (in our example “interview”) and your original InterviewApp domain (mysite.itwapp.io).
It can take up to 72 hours for your DNS changes to take effect.
If you need help or if your domain registrar recommends another method, please contact our support.
Set your CNAME in InterviewApp
Once your DNS settings have been set:
Click the “Account Settings” tab in your InterviewApp dashboard
Click the “Manage” button in the “Domain name” section
Activate the “Use a custom domain name” option
Enter your custom domain name that you previously gave to your domain registrar (interview.mysite.com)
Click “Save”.
